My name is Lili Zheng, and I am a junior at Temple University majoring in Broadcast Journalism and pursuing a minor in Political Science.>Born and raised in Southern Maryland, I began my undergraduate career studying in Philadelphia in the fall of 2010 and have been on the track of pursuing my lifelong dream of becoming a broadcast journalist. I owe the amazing internship opportunities I've been exposed to so far to the numerous student organizations I am involved with including but not limited to Temple Update, Owl Ambassadors, the Delta Zeta Sorority, and the Panhellenic Association -- which I am in the middle of my term serving as President, supported by an always eager and hardworking executive board, overseeing all sororities under the Panhellenic council at Temple University.After spending four months interning for FOX 29's "nightside" team and then transitioning to their morning program "Good Day Philadelphia" in January, I believe I have found my niche with morning television. This only further fuels my passion and excitement for this industry as I prepare to move up to the Big Apple in June and spend summer days interning for CBS 2 New York, working with their weekend program.
